The Bourne Skating Club's membership runs in conjunction with that of US Figureskating, July 1 - June 30th. All memberships will be inactive and up for renewal June 30th. We offer a variety of club membership types for skaters of all levels and disciplines. If you are unsure of what type of membership you should have, talk to your coach or contact us and we will be glad to help you.
2022-2023 Skater Membership
Introductory Membership – Applicable if skater has never been a registered USFSA member with any club (with the exception of Basic Skills) and only applies for the first year of membership.
· USFS Membership ($30 paid by BSC to USFS)
· Monthly Skating Magazine
· Contract ice at member rate
· Represent BSC in USFS Test Sessions and Competitions
· Invited to register for Spring Recital (fee)
· Invitation to attend the BSC annual banquet (fee)
· Required to fulfill 5 hours volunteer time related to the Cape Cod Classic in December
· Required to serve as ice monitor for 1 session for each contracted ice session per season
· No voting privilege

Full Membership – For skaters who wish for BSC to be their primary Home Club.
· USFS Membership ($60 paid by BSC to USFS)
· Monthly Skating Magazine
· Contract ice at member rates
· Represent BSC in USFS Test Sessions and Competitions
· Free Participation in recital(s)
· Free admission to the BSC annual banquet ($30 value)
· Annual recognition for test and competition accomplishments
· Eligible for Individual Competition Reimbursement up to $150 annually (must contract 1 ice session per season)
· Required to fulfill 10 volunteer hours (at least 5 hours related to the Cape Cod Classic in December)
· Required to serve as ice monitor for 1 session for each contracted ice session per season
· 1 voting privilege

Associate Membership – For skaters whose primary home club membership is with another USFS club

Collegiate Membership - For skaters who are 18 years of age and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Collegiate memberships are valid for four calendar years. An individual can only use the Collegiate option once in their lifetime with US Figure Skating.

· Walk-on at member rates
· Represent BSC in USFS Test Sessions and Competitions

Honorary Membership - For those who have been awarded Honorary Member status
· USFS Membership ($60 paid by BSC to USFS)

· Free admission to the BSC annual banquet ($30 value)
· 1 voting privilege
Team Only Membership - For skaters who are USFS members of another club and would like skate on our synchronized skating team or theater on ice team. Team Membership is not eligible to contract ice and does not offer any other member benefits except to skate on a team representing the Bourne Skating Club.

If you have not received a Welcome email from EntryEeze, or you are a NEW member, please click the link below to register for membership.
Volunteering: All members are REQUIRED to perform a number of hours of volunteer services, depending on membership type.
Volunteer hours must be approved by the Volunteer Coordinator in order for them to be credited to your required hours.
If your volunteer hours are not completed by February 1st you will be assessed a $200 fee which will be due by April 1st. Failure to pay this fee will result in you not being in good standing and you will be unable to participate in any BSC or USFS events (banquet, testing, competitions, etc) until your account is paid in full.
Payment in lieu of fulfilling your hours is not an option.
**Team Volunteer Time (Synchro/TOI) does not count toward your BSC Membership Volunteer Requirement**
